Hi, I am Ham a retired software developer and am very interested in finding a good way to send MIDI data from the POI. I will be controlling a lighting rig running ETC EOS, which is professional level DMX Software. I have over 2,000 macros and cues developed in ETC that actually control the lights. I use Ableton L:ive to link the MIDI files to audio files. The problem with this is that it is not at all DJ Friendly when you are building you play list on the fly as you read an audience.
